What to eat and drink in the Venetian Riviera

No holiday in the Venetian Riviera would be complete without sampling a refreshing aperitif known as Prosecco, the local sparkling wine. Light white Pinot Grigio is the perfect accompaniment to pasta or seafood. Don't miss the chance to try the authentic hors d'oeuvres at a Venetian osteria. Afterwards, the hearty eau de vie Grappa makes an excellent digestif. Or, if you fancy yourself as a bit of a celeb, then don't miss out on world famous Bellinis or Martinis at Harry's Bar, hard to find but well worth the effort.

What to see and do in the Venetian Riviera

During your holiday at any one of our three campsites in the Venetian Riviera; Union Lido, Pra delle Torri or Marina di Venezia, why not escape to the long and gently sloping beaches of Lido di Jesolo, just perfect for children. Enjoy a cycle along the canals and country lanes in the Cavallino national park. It's a relaxed and tranquil way to see many of the historic villages and delightful market gardens Aqualand Waterparc in Jesolo. Visit the beautiful cathedral at Caorle which was built was built in 1038. Caorle itself is a coastal town in the province of Venezia, Veneto, located between the estuaries of the Livenza and Lemene rivers.
